Question 1

Why have I been invited?

Accepted Answer

Rezolva is inviting experienced practitioners from different fields, practice settings and jurisdictions whose perspectives can add something useful to the professional record. You have been invited because your experience is relevant to questions Rezolva is exploring. Invitations are personal, single-use and not transferable.

Question 2

How long will this take?

Accepted Answer

Your first contribution normally takes around 15–20 minutes in total, including the setup check. Most answers are 1–3 minutes.

Question 3

What does Verified Practitioner mean?

Accepted Answer

It means the Rezolva team has carried out a verification step on your professional standing and recorded the outcome. It is a real review, not something you can switch on yourself.

Question 4

Can I answer using audio only?

Accepted Answer

Audio-only is available where Rezolva has authorised it for you. If you would prefer it and do not see the option, contact the Rezolva team.

Question 5

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

Whatever you would wear to a professional meeting. Plain colours generally read better on camera than fine patterns.

Question 6

Do I need professional recording equipment?

Accepted Answer

No. A recent laptop or phone in a quiet room is enough. The recording check will tell you if something obvious needs attention.

Question 7

Can I re-record?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can review a take and re-record as many times as you wish before you submit anything.

Question 8

What happens to takes I don't choose?

Accepted Answer

Every take is uploaded securely so that you can watch it back. Only the take you choose becomes your submitted contribution. The takes you do not choose are marked as discarded and are deleted from Rezolva's storage by a scheduled daily purge, so they never form part of the project collection.

Question 9

How should I position the camera?

Accepted Answer

At eye level, framed from roughly mid-chest upward, with modest space above your head. Landscape orientation where practical.

Question 10

How do I improve my sound?

Accepted Answer

Use a quiet room, close doors and windows, silence notifications, and avoid touching the desk. Earbuds with a microphone often help.

Question 11

My camera will not work.

Accepted Answer

Check that your browser has permission to use the camera, that no other application is holding it, and reload the page. If a camera is genuinely unavailable, contact the Rezolva team, who can enable audio-only recording for your account.

Question 12

My microphone will not work.

Accepted Answer

Check your browser's microphone permission and the input device selected in the recording check. The live level meter should move while you speak.

Question 13

My upload stopped.

Accepted Answer

Your recording uploads in small pieces, so if the connection drops it picks up from where it stopped rather than starting again. Stay on the page while it finishes. If it still will not complete, contact the Rezolva team and we will help.

Question 14

Can I discuss matters I have worked on?

Accepted Answer

Do not disclose confidential or privileged information. Speak about your approach and reasoning rather than identifiable matters.

Question 15

How should I anonymise examples?

Accepted Answer

Remove names, organisations, dates, locations and any detail that would let a matter be identified. Describe the situation in general terms.

Question 16

How will my contribution be used?

Accepted Answer

Your contribution becomes part of Rezolva’s reviewed professional archive. Judgment in the Room is an important flagship book and interview project arising from this work. Under the Contributor Agreement, approved material may also be used in related formats such as video or audio extracts, transcripts and quotations, articles, podcasts, professional learning, presentations and digital resources. The Agreement you accept during onboarding contains the complete terms.

Question 17

Does contributing mean my answer will appear in the book?

Accepted Answer

Not necessarily. Judgment in the Room is developed from the wider Rezolva work, and a book can contain only part of the material being recorded. Selected material may appear in the book, while approved contributions may also be used in other formats permitted by the Contributor Agreement.

Question 18

Will I see the transcript?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Your recording is transcribed automatically and you review, correct and approve the transcript before Rezolva's own review continues.

Question 19

How is AI used?

Accepted Answer

AI is used to draft the transcript and to suggest classification metadata. Suggested metadata is never treated as verified until a person confirms it, and nothing is published automatically.

Question 20

Who owns the recording and content?

Accepted Answer

Ownership and rights are governed by the Contributor Agreement you read and accept during onboarding. The agreement distinguishes the specific contribution you make to the project from your pre-existing materials, professional know-how and underlying experience.

Question 21

What can Rezolva do with my contribution?

Accepted Answer

Rezolva may use an approved contribution only within the scope of the Contributor Agreement you accepted. Synthetic voice, synthetic likeness, fabricated statements attributed to you, and generative imitation uses are not authorised through ordinary onboarding and would require a separate explicit agreement where applicable.

Question 22

What happens if I later have a concern?

Accepted Answer

Open the contribution from your dashboard and raise a concern. It is logged, reviewed by the Rezolva team, and can place a hold while it is considered.

Question 23

Who can I contact?

Accepted Answer

Email sam.lawson@rezolva.org or call +61 414 664 797, and the Rezolva contributor team will pick it up.
