Recording guide
Five-minute recording setup
This is about recording your practitioner perspective for Rezolva. You do not need professional equipment — a recent laptop or phone in a quiet room is entirely sufficient.
- 1
Find somewhere quiet
Close doors and windows and silence notifications. A quiet room does more for quality than any equipment.
- 2
Put your camera at eye level
A laptop resting on several books is perfectly acceptable.
- 3
Face the light
A window in front of you usually works better than one behind you.
- 4
Frame yourself naturally
Show your head and upper torso, with modest space above your head. Landscape orientation where practical.
- 5
Look toward the camera
Imagine you are speaking to another experienced practitioner sitting opposite you.
- 6
Speak naturally
There is no need to read a prepared speech. The project is interested in how you actually think about the question.
- 7
Take your time
You can watch each take back and re-record as often as you like. Only the take you choose becomes your submitted contribution. Takes you reject are deleted, and temporary unsubmitted recordings are removed under Rezolva's temporary-media retention process, so they never form part of the project collection.
